Environmental portraiture is my favorite genre. I view the portrait experience is a collaborative relationship between subject and photographer. I’m always interested in relationships between people and their pets. I strive to capture these relationships and "real" personalities in a portrait.

I enjoy photographing forgotten or overlooked places and subjects. I strive to capture an essence of someone or something that is unique. I hope to show some crucial element of truth or at least my personal truth.
